A couple minutes ago, I was just on YouTube. Watching an interesting mini-doc on “A Day In The Life Of An Amazon Tribesman”.
And it turns out that Amazon Tribesmen are quite the modern people.
They wear your typical superhero and football club t-shirts.
They create music videos. And art.
And they even have schools, not unlike your typical high school.
But when it comes to cuisine, their tastes are still a little exotic. Not what I’m used to. And it made me a little nauseous.
Especially when it came to eating bugs.
Or even worse:
They have this dish where everyone in the tribe had to chew pieces of the grains in their mouth, spit it all out into a huge wooden pot, and let everything stew and ferment before you eat it. Apparently, in the tribe, people don’t kiss. And this is how they “share the love”.
More:
As the borders have opened up, travel resumes as usual.
And as with all adventures, scary things (that make you nauseous) can happen. Whether that’s motion sickness, sea sickness, or morning sickness after a romantic night…
The best way to deal with these tummy-turning events?
Just slip on this semi-tight wrist band, and watch the green hues on your face disappear faster than the Amazon rainforest as it gets plowed by industrial contractors hell-bent on making a profit.
